Who we are:

The primary focus of Pixelhaus Design Studio is the creation of well-planned, well-designed and well-crafted environments tailored to the virtual world of Second Life. 

We are continually excited, intrigued, entertained and awed by the metaverse.  Which is exactly how we think people should feel when they arrive on your doorstep in Second Life.

Our focus is on architectural environments, landscapes and interiors. The scale is irrelevant; we design and craft objects as small as a tablelamp, and as large as total coordinated environments spanning multiple sims.

As Principals, we bring to our content creation for SL our

first life experience and expertise: 

Patch Thibaud

is an experienced and well-respected builder in Second Life, and an experienced architect and designer in the real world, with licenses in New York and California. With an unusually diverse background in architectural style, his portfolio of RL projects spans multiple design disciplines to include architecture, planning, landscape architecture and interiors.

Patch has designed everything from birdhouses to oceanliners, and in styles ranging from the meticulously historical to the aggressively modern.

Frolic Mills

is a businessman who is also a creative visionary. Educated in Venezuela, Canada and the United States, his background includes degrees in economics and marketing. His subsequent working experience embraces business development, business executive and financial management, and marketing.  Having developed his own  successful chain of businesses in Caracas, Frolic is now channeling into Second Life his creative energy and fascination with developing businesses. He is CEO of The Best of SL Magazine, with the largest circulation of any periodical in SL, as well as heading up several other SL businesses.

Frolic has his finger firmly on the business and creative pulse of SL; he brings to every project, regardless of scale, a sure sense for exciting possiblities tempered by both his pragmatism and his knowledge of the SL business and operational environment.
